Curriculum Vitae

To date, my research has focused on eye movements during reading, and in particular word skipping during reading. I am currently completing a PhD in Web Science focusing on Reading on the Web. This project brings together my past knowledge as a Web Developer and my interest in cognitive psychology. My previous work in eye movements during reading will provide an excellent basis for exploring reading behaviour on the Web.

I am also keen to learn more about visual cognition in general, and have been actively involved with the Centre for Visual Cognition (CVC) at the School of Psychology throughout my undergraduate degree. I regularly attend the weekly CVC seminars during which leading experts present the results from their experiments and research.
